No mentions by any other authors could be found. In AlgaeBase currently there are two options:
1)Ceratium hirundinella var. furcoides Levander 1900 accepted as Ceratium furcoides (Levander) Langhans 1925 a freshwater species(synonyms: Ceratium hirundinella var. furcoides Levander 1900; Ceratium furcoides f. gracile Entz 1927);
2)Ceratium hirundinella f. furcoides Schroeder 1918 tagged as a preliminary entry.
